About this role

We are seeking a finance professional to support accurate and timely lease accounting and real estate financial processing in Pune. This role focuses on end-to-end contract set-up and maintenance, monthly valuation postings, reconciliations, reporting, compliance activities, and issue resolution in line with IFRS 16 principles. The role reports to the Real Estate Finance Lead / Deputy Lead and is an individual contributor position with no direct reports

What you’ll do

Manage real estate accounting operations in compliance with IFRS 16 principles and internal control requirements.Oversee end-to-end lease contract management, including contract creation, modification, approval, and maintenance in the relevant systems.Complete monthly valuation postings for eligible leases with a high level of accuracy and within agreed timelines.Deliver internal and external financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end activities, and compliance-related tasks.Analyse issues, investigate exceptions, and work with stakeholders to resolve operational and accounting queries clearly and effectively.

Who you are

Good knowledge of lease accounting principles under IFRS 16.Experience working with SAP, ideally SAP RE-FX, and confidence using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power Platform tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and time management skills.Professional fluency in German and English, with German at B2.1 level or above.Relevant experience in finance, real estate accounting, lease accounting, or financial analysis.
