About this Role

We are seeking a Java Maintenance Developer to join our dynamic team at VOIS. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about maintaining and enhancing existing applications, ensuring system stability, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality upgrades. The position involves working with Spring-based applications, CI/CD tools, and legacy systems, making it a great opportunity for those who enjoy problem-solving and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Provide support for Spring-based applications, including Spring and Spring-Batch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver application upgrades.
  • Lead code reviews and mentor team members to uphold high standards of code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
  • Administer Jenkins and SonarQube, including server patching, upgrades, and plugin updates.
  • Manage and enhance Jenkins build pipelines.
  • Conduct JDK upgrades and ensure compatibility across systems.
  • Analyse business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.

Who you are

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Spring and Spring-Batch frameworks.
  • Proficient in working with Oracle databases and ORMs such as Hibernate.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and SonarQube administration.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
  • Capable of working independently and adapting to legacy systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
