About this Role
We are seeking an IPT Voice Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP technologies to support global enterprise customers. The role focuses on incident resolution, service availability, and operational excellence within IP Telephony environments. The individual will contribute to maintaining high service standards through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of voice infrastructure.
What you’ll do
Manage incidents across IPT/IPCC environments, ensuring timely resolution aligned with agreed SLAsPerform change management activities including moves, adds, and deletions following standard processesSupport configuration and implementation of Cisco voice solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to SIP, H.323, MGCP protocols and voice gatewaysCarry out performance monitoring, trend analysis, and preventative maintenanceCollaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex technical issuesParticipate in customer calls and provide technical updates and solutionsMaintain and enhance knowledge bases, documentation, and inventory systemsSupport server maintenance and restoration activities
Who you are
Professional with 3+ years of experience in VoIP/IPT engineeringStrong technical knowledge of Cisco IPT, CVOICE, and Unified CommunicationsGood understanding of IPCC and ICM environmentsProficient in voice protocols such as SIP, H.323, and MGCPHands-on experience with voice gateways and troubleshootingRelevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalentCertifications such as CCNA/CCVP or similar are beneficialProblem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues effectivelyCollaborative individual able to work across teams and functions
