About this Role
We are seeking an experienced infrastructure security professional to lead security governance, risk management, operational excellence, and service reliability across enterprise infrastructure services. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with cyber security standards, improving security posture, managing security incidents, supporting critical infrastructure platforms, and leading technical teams to deliver secure, resilient, and customer-focused services. The position operates in a global environment and plays a key role in protecting business continuity, safeguarding information assets, and driving continuous service improvement.
What you’ll do
- Lead infrastructure security activities, ensuring compliance with cyber security and risk management standards across enterprise services.
- Drive security posture management through proactive monitoring, risk remediation, vulnerability management, operating system patching, and security assessments.
- Manage threat detection, investigation, incident response, recovery planning, and implementation of improved security controls.
- Oversee technical operations, service availability, platform health, and operational excellence for critical infrastructure services.
- Lead, coach, and develop technical operations teams, supporting capability building, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, customer escalations, service reviews, and service improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with service management processes, governance standards, service level agreements, and change management requirements.
- Support project delivery by providing technical expertise, managing operational readiness, and ensuring successful implementation of new services and technologies.
- Contribute to operational planning, budget management, service investment forecasting, and business continuity activities.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in IT support, infrastructure security, and technology operations, including significant experience leading technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, virtualisation platforms, Windows Server
- technologies, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, storage solutions, and cloud-based services.
- Experience with vulnerability management, configuration management, automated deployment, and information security controls.
- Proven ability to manage operational services, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and deliver continuous service improvements.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, communication, and people development skills.
- Comfortable working within an on-call support model and collaborating across international teams and cultures when required.
