About this Role

We are seeking an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Specialist to design, build, and manage cloud-native platforms for business-critical applications. This role involves supporting proof of concept, constructing and administering environments across development, testing, pre-production, and production stages. You will also contribute to migrating from AWS EC2-based architecture to AWS EKS-based architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.

What you will do

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes/EKS clusters for high availability and security.
  • Implement GitOps principles for continuous delivery and infrastructure automation.
  • Design and maintain Terraform modules for reusable infrastructure components.
  • Develop and manage Argo workflows and Helm charts for automated deployments.
  • Optimise cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance and security best practices across Kubernetes and AWS environments.
  • Support mission-critical operations, including monitoring, alerting, and on-call duties.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and manage service restoration.
  • Drive engineering and implementation of new features and self-service capabilities.

Who you are

  • Experienced in Terraform, Kubernetes/AWS EKS, Helm charts, and CI/CD deployment with Argo CD.
  • Skilled in GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, routing, load balancing, security groups).
  • Familiar with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EFS, OpenSearch, and CloudWatch.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and applying DevOps principles.
  • Certifications in AWS and Kubernetes are desirable.
  • Goal-oriented, pragmatic, and eager to learn new technologies.
