Role Purpose

The Head of Sales is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by leading Vodafone’s sales strategy, execution, and transformation. The role focuses on accelerating value-based selling, expanding solution-led and digital revenues, strengthening customer relationships, and building a high-performing, future-ready sales organization aligned with Vodafone’s strategic objectives.

If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do

Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Define and execute the end-to-end sales strategy in line with Vodafone’s commercial and digital transformation ambitions.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, including C-suite and key decision-makers.
  • Position Vodafone as a trusted digital transformation partner rather than a traditional telecom provider.

Sales Execution & Performance

  • Own sales targets, forecasts, pipeline health, and performance management across all segments.
  • Establish clear KPIs, governance, and reporting mechanisms to track sales effectiveness and ROI.

Sales Transformation & Capability Building

  • Lead the upskilling and transformation of sales teams toward consultative, technical, and solution-oriented selling.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management

    • Lead, inspire, and coach senior sales leaders and regional teams.

Who you are

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in sales, commercial leadership, or business development within telecommunications, technology, IT services, or digital solutions.
  • 8+ years in a senior sales leadership role, leading large, multi-layered sales organizations.
  • Proven experience managing complex B2B and enterprise sales cycles, including large-scale, multi-year contracts.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability in competitive markets.
  • Hands-on experience leading sales transformation initiatives, including the shift from product-based to solution- and value-based selling.
  • Strong exposure to CxO-level engagement and executive stakeholder management.
    • Proven senior sales leadership experience in telecom, technology, or complex B2B solutions environments.
    • Strong track record in driving large-scale sales transformation and value-based selling.
    • Deep understanding of enterprise customers and complex solution sales cycles.
    • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
    • Strategic mindset with strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
