Global IP/MPLS Services Engineer

Your day to Day

You will be part of multinational team responsible for Global IP MPLS Service design.

A day in the life of a Global IP MPLS Services Engineer involves assessing requirements, creating appropriate designs & configurations for Vodafone’s Global IP VPN network, contributing to solution designs and various projects, testing configurations, documenting solutions and creating guidelines, supporting lifecycle management activities and assigning IP/MPLS network parameters.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business

•Clarifying and analysing requirements, exploring feasible options, and finding solutions

•Contributing to IP designs for interconnecting networks and technology systems

•Creating LLDs, configuration guidelines, work order documents

•Participating in projects as IP network specialist

•Defining test cases, testing connectivity configurations

•Managing IP address space, assigning IP/MPLS network parameters

•Sharing new ideas, contributing to optimization of existing solutions, tools and processes

With these skills you are a great candidate

•Good knowledge of IP MPLS technologies and routing protocols (MPLS VPN, BGP, QoS, IPv6, …)

•Experience (3Ys) with IP MPLS VPN designs for interconnecting networks and service platforms

•Experience with creating LLDs, configuration guidelines

•Analytical, structured, open minded

•Technologies: IP/MPLS, L3 VPN, QoS, BGP, IPSec

•Understanding of mobile networks and services

•Certifications: CCNP, CCDP, NRS

•Ability to work within a multi-national organization and as part of a virtual team
