About this role

We are seeking a German Speaking Global IoT Service Expert to lead the IoT service relationship for Vodafone’s largest IoT accounts. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to customers, managing in-life IoT services, and providing governance over IoT operations such as incident, change, and problem management. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver market-leading service offerings and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the dedicated key contact for Vodafone’s strategic IoT customers globally.
  • Manage senior-level customer relationships and lead service review meetings and QBRs.
  • Provide proactive IoT technical service management and drive service improvements using ITIL principles.
  • Analyse patterns and customer needs to identify new opportunities and shape IoT operational services.
  • Initiate and approve new processes impacting customer solutions.
  • Engage in IoT vendor management and collaborate with technical planning authorities on strategic topics.
  • Represent Vodafone’s interests while advocating for customer needs within the IoT organisation.
  • Own overall IoT service and contractual deliverables, including KPIs, SLAs, NPS, and cost-to-serve metrics.
  • Support commercial stakeholders to drive incremental revenue and customer adoption of IoT service

Who you are

  • Fluent in English and proficient in German.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification and strong project management skills.
  • Advanced IoT technical knowledge, including operations and service management for WAN, LAN, SDN, and security services.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and trend interpretation.
  • Solution-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in challenging environments.
  • University or MA degree with advanced knowledge of mobile network technologies (LPWA, GPRS, WCDMA, LTE 4G).
  • Familiarity with module technologies and products (SIMCOM, Quectel, Gemalto, Sierra Wireless).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the automotive OEM business.
