About this Role

We are seeking a GCP Platform & DevOps Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform and Infrastructure as Code practices. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing GCP platforms using Terraform, supporting CI/CD pipelines, coordinating platform upgrades, analysing complex operational scenarios, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure platform stability, scalability and operational excellence.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and manage Google Cloud Platform environments using Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code
• Create, modify and deploy cloud resources using Terraform in accordance with platform standards and governance requirements
• Support and optimise CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GoCD and related deployment frameworks
• Coordinate platform upgrades, maintenance activities and enhancement initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups
• Participate in root cause analysis activities and support issue resolution for platform-related incidents
• Collaborate with global and local teams to understand business requirements and implement effective cloud solutions
• Support Agile and Lean delivery methodologies, contributing to planning, execution and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure infrastructure deployments follow standardised processes, automation principles and operational best practices
• Contribute to platform reliability, scalability and security through proactive monitoring and continuous optimisation

Who you are

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong experience in Terraform resource creation, infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation
• Hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD or similar platforms
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud platform lifecycle management
• Experience working in Agile and Lean delivery environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Associate Terraform Certification and/or Google Cloud Associate Certification is preferred
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams in a global environment
