Role Purpose

Lead and supervise passive network team and budget for Gated communities to ensure best network quality and best customer experience.

Role Profile

  • Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
  • Plan & technically manage Passive setup for Gated communities projects
  • Interface with suppliers in different network projects and negotiations
  • Manage & align all project activities across different stakeholders inside & outside Vodafone
  • Provide cost saving initiatives by identifying the relevant network topology that best utilizes the resources of the network and minimizes the CAPEX and OPEX spending.
  • Manage & Track Capex Budget and stock for Transport Gated Communities domain
  • POs Issuance & delivery tracking
  • Responsible for Projects performance monitoring through governance meetings
  • Ensure that all processes and SLAs are properly set to serve our internal and external customers with speed and simplicity
  • Monitor stock and hardware release from TX warehouse
  • Design Passive Network for FTTH (Triple Paly Network) within SLA.
  • Estimate pricing of BOM for new project.
  • Make survey and prepare reports for new site.
  • Update and follow-up on the time schedule of project to ensure that the job is finalized within the planned time frame.
  • Control the relationship with multiple vendors and suppliers in the projects involving the introduction of new technologies serving the products and services introduced.
  • Ensure minimal customer impact during network upgrades and changes
  • Coach, develop and motivate his/her direct reports to enhance their management capabilities and build their proper career path.
  • Communicate and motivate with other team members through different forums and meetings to ensure their full engagement towards achieving the targets.
  • Lead by example the Vodafone Way behaviours and encourage all team members to embrace & operate with VF way.
  • Set SMART goals and targets for the Gated communities passive team
  • Develop, monitor and analyse key performance indicators throughout the team
  • Balance and monitor the work load distribution to match with the business needs and team capabilities

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in handling passive network projects across different domains
  • Ability to lead the team
  • Good Project Management Skills & Experience
  • Full understanding of customer demands/needs and flexibility to exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Work in harmony with Agile practices
  • Creative thinking to provide out of the box solutions
  • Good Stakeholder management capabilities
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Self-motivated and high time management ability.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to learn and self-study
  • Excellent vendor management ability

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • B.SC. in Electrical Engineering majoring in Communication and Electronic Engineering.
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Fiber implementation
  • Experience in passive network setup, preferably FTTH
