Job Description
What you’ll do
- With us, you can shape the future of connected living by partnering with our Consumer business to deliver insight-driven decisions that power growth.In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the Consumer Fixed P&L across Broadband, TV, Voice and innovative products like SuperWifi and Secure Net. You’ll review monthly performance, explain variances and trends, and work closely with commercial teams to identify issues early and drive corrective actions.
- You’ll be the go-to finance partner for senior leaders—providing commercial insights to the Consumer Director, Chief Product Owner, CFO and Finance Leadership Team. You’ll influence strategy and operationalise plans across Consumer and Finance, ensuring decisions are backed by robust financial analysis. From shaping pricing and promotions to challenging business cases and reviewing investment proposals, you’ll make sure every initiative aligns with governance and delivers value.
- Planning and forecasting will be a key part of your remit—owning rolling forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans, and aligning wholesale cost assumptions across Finance, Consumer, Strategy and Technology. You’ll champion profitability by driving actions on pricing, credits, discounts and wholesale optimisation, while continuously assessing Vodafone’s position against competitors.
- When needed, you’ll deputise for the Head of Consumer Business Partnering at leadership meetings, ensuring alignment and momentum at the highest level.
Who we are looking for
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 6+ years PQE
- 4+ years Business Partnering experience, including 2+ years in Commercial Business Partnering
- Strong background in planning, forecasting and budgeting
- Hands-on financial modelling experience
- Advanced Excel and excellent PC skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders
- (Desirable) Knowledge of the telecoms market and revenue drivers
