Role Purpose/Business Unit:
To develop, structure and implement a Group Regulatory strategy to support and de-risk all infrastructure Joint ventures across the Group including large scale sharing ventures.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop a Regulatory and compliance strategy for the Group infrastructure investments portfolio – InfraCo’s and MNO’s as customer
• Lead the process of securing all required operating and any other licenses required by the InfraCo’s
• Establish a risk register and risk mitigation plan for all Infrastructure investments and joint ventures
• Create alignment across all infrastructure companies to ensure optimal alignment and best practise sharing
• Support the development of all the commercial Terms sheets / agreements with the legal teams
• Lead the establishment of the Regulatory departments within the infrastructure companies
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• 3-year business-related qualification essential
• 10 Years of experience in the ICT sector preferred
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
• Excellent presentation skills and professional discussions and negotiations with 3rd parties on C-Level
• Deep experience in ICT Regulatory legislation across all the Vodacom markets
• Deep experience in Regulatory strategy and risk management
• Work experience in an ICT environment and proven track record in multi-national corporations with matrix organizations
• Experience in driving complex new ventures – end-to-end delivery
