What you’ll do

The Device Portfolio Manager at Vodafone Albania manages strategy, performance, and lifecycle for devices such as smartphones, gadgets, accessories, and fixed CPEs. This role connects market needs with commercial objectives, vendor plans, and operational execution, leading cross-functional teams in product development, procurement, and go-to-market activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify portfolio gaps, opportunities, and trends across devices and accessories.
• Lead forecasting, planning, and performance analysis to optimise portfolio health.
• Ensure device propositions reflect customer needs and market insights.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform product positioning
• Lead alignment between portfolio strategy, marketing, sales, retail, digital, and CRM teams.
• Monitor commercial performance (sales, margin, penetration, stock turn) and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee procurement planning and purchasing strategies with the Device Procurement Specialist.
• Collaborate with the Device Operations Manager, Retail Operations Manager, to ensure timely availability and quality.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the devices team.
• Represent the device portfolio in leadership forums and business reviews.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the entire device portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, selection, launch, in-life management, and end-of-life, while driving innovation and performance through collaborative direction with key stakeholders.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Understanding of device technology and network devices.
• Cross-functional leadership.
• Strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Good knowledge on new technologies (Wi-Fi 7, mesh evolution, smart home hubs, energy monitoring devices) for future portfolio readiness.
• Knowledge of routers, ONTs, mesh Wi-Fi systems, extenders, and home connectivity hardware.
• Strong understanding of the smartphone and accessories market, including trends and consumer behaviours.
• Proven track record of successfully launching products and driving sales growth.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or sales within the telecommunications or consumer electronics industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-centric and passionate about smartphones, IoT, gadgets & emerging technologies.
