About this Role

We are seeking an experienced application operations professional to manage the day-to-day operational health, availability and performance of Oracle WebLogic-hosted Telecom Order Management services in Pune.This hands-on role focuses on platform reliability, customer order-fulfilment integrity, SLA adherence, incident and problem resolution, observability, operational automation and continual service improvement. You will support reliable customer-order journeys across CRM, Order Management, middleware, provisioning and downstream systems.You will also apply SRE, automation and responsible AI/AIOps practices to improve issue detection, diagnosis and recovery while maintaining appropriate human validation, access controls, traceability and rollback safeguards.The role supports service governance and stakeholder coordination but does not own application development, deployment execution or L3 defect delivery.

Who you are

  • You have 7–10 years of Telecom IT, BSS or enterprise application-operations experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on production support involving Oracle WebLogic and Order Management or OSM platforms.
  • You have practical expertise in Oracle WebLogic Server administration and production support, including domains, clusters, managed servers, Node Manager, JVM, JDBC, JMS, threads and heap analysis.
  • You understand Telecom Order Management or Oracle OSM operations, including COM/SOM/TOM concepts, order orchestration, order states, fallout and recovery.
  • You understand order capture, decomposition, fulfilment, provisioning and service activation.
  • You have experience troubleshooting WebLogic and application logs, performance issues and production incidents.
  • You are proficient in Oracle SQL/PLSQL for operational analysis, reconciliation and controlled data validation.
  • You have Unix/Linux, Shell scripting and preferably WLST experience.
  • You can troubleshoot integrations across CRM, OMS/OSM, SOA/OSB/AIA, UIM, ASAP and downstream provisioning platforms.
  • You understand REST/SOAP services, XML/XQuery, queues, adapters and message-based interfaces.
  • You have hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Kibana, Grafana or Zabbix.
  • You understand Incident, Major Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request management, alongside ITIL practices and SLA/KPI management.
  • You have contributed to automation, observability or continual-improvement initiatives.
  • You can communicate clearly when coordinating technical activities, service restoration and operational governance.
  • Practical exposure to AIOps, anomaly detection, intelligent alert correlation, AI-assisted RCA or incident summarisation is beneficial.
  • ITIL Foundation certification and exposure to Oracle SOA/OSB/AIA, Oracle OSM, UIM, ASAP and SRE practices are preferred.
