Job Description

Key accountabilities:
• First point of contact and coordinator of audit/assurance requests thereby ensuring effective SME engagement through full audit life-cycle to issue of final report.
• Coordinate the defining and senior manager approval of remedial actions.
• Tracking, reporting and governance of remedial actions (managing deviations from agreed delivery dates).
• Provide management reporting on the status of all audit Demand activity across CTO and supporting / interested parties.
• Act as the focal point for audit related escalation, facilitation, and arbitration.
• Establish and oversee the model to monitor and track CTO resource expenditure relating to supporting audit and assurance.
• Define, establish and manage CTO function reference sources for ease of evidence gathering.
• Proactive planning of audit/assurance engagement and advance requirements gathering through CTO reference sources.
• Own and nurture stakeholder management of the Audit and Assurance community – all levels.
• Promote the benefits of audit and assurance within the function for the purpose of demonstrating openness, transparency, process excellence and the embracing of continuous improvement.
• Support the management of CTO portfolio/register, ensuring it is kept up to date and cyber theme risks mitigation plans are tracked.
• Support the Market/Function Councils through preparation of briefing packs, Exec Level memos and co-presenting Risk Council (RC) sessions.
• Proactively monitor emerging/existing CTO theme risks for awareness / association with audit / assurance activities.
• Collaborate with Risk Mgmt. Team peers across Vodafone UK and the One European technology team model to ensure cohesiveness and consistency with reporting risks and to promote continuous process excellence.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and assurance activities.
• Experience of operational risk management.
• Ability to interpret policy frameworks into ‘Design Effectiveness’ and ‘Operational Effectiveness’ context for the purpose of determining current level of compliance.
• Desirable, exposure / working within CTO or technology function.
• Stakeholder Management - building effective working relationships across management and operational layers within CTO and cross-function.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, ability to:
• Engage & motivate

• Facilitate
• Corroborate
• Arbitrate
• Formulate
• Knowledge of Cyber Security Controls.
• Knowledge of industry standards, for example: ISO27001, TSR, SOX, PCI DSS, FCA an advantage but not essential
• Working knowledge of MS office tool set / packages. E.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
• Hold or have ability to obtain CISA or CRISC

Risk qualification is required CISM, CRISC, CISA etc
