What you’ll do

As the Cyber Risk Manager, you will work in the Cyber Prevent Team and will be responsible for ensuring appropriate levels of cyber security controls are implemented within the Vodafone Central Entities and Group Functions and ensuring Cyber Risk Management is effectively operated.
You will support your stakeholders to prioritise the implementation of the key cyber security controls, aligned to the Cyber Health and Adaptive Risk Method programme, by reviewing detailed evidence on their control implementation, advising and reviewing control remediation activities and plans, and reporting on Cyber Assurance activities.
You will perform a key role in Cyber Risk Management domain, making sure the Vodafone entities are managing Cyber risks appropriately through to their conclusion and within Vodafone risk tolerance.
The role will require interaction with wide areas of the Vodafone Group and Cyber functions, including the Cyber Assurance team, therefore key stakeholder engagement and experience in working across a variety of global teams is a key aspect of the role; specifically for agreeing control improvement and remediation plans.

  • Drive and ensure full compliancy on CHARM technical security controls and policies across the Vodafone Entities
  • Collaborative engagement and leadership across different departments to drive risk and compliance management, leveraging both internal expertise and external best practices
  • Identify and mitigate Cyber Risk through to conclusion within Vodafone risk tolerance
  • Review technical solution designs for compliance with Vodafone security policies.
  • Support Internal and External Cyber Security Audits related to Cyber Certifications, by interacting with Internal and
  • External auditors and relevant stakeholders.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Cyber Security
  • At least 5 years’ experience in designing, implementing or operating security controls in a complex Technology (IT or Networks) environment
  • Experience of policies and standards programs – such as ISO2700x, NIST or even ISAE3402
  • Ideally a good level of technical security knowledge would be preferred
  • Experience of measuring and reporting control or delivery progress and effectiveness
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven capability in influencing diverse senior leaders across business
  • Ability to understand and communicate strategic issues. at board/director level.
  • Ability to produce management level reports aimed at C – Level, Senior Management, Internal and Customers alike.

Holding one or more of the following professional certifications is preferred:

  • Lead Internal Auditor / Implementer to ISO 27001
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
