About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Delivery Project Manager to lead end-to-end, customer-facing technical projects for Vodafone Germany, ensuring seamless delivery of complex ICT solutions across multiple geographies. The individual will oversee governance, risk, financial planning, and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s best‑practice methodologies. This role suits someone experienced in managing cross‑functional teams, working with enterprise customers, and navigating multi-party delivery environments.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery of complex customer projects across ICT domains including fixed networks, unified communications, security, and cloud technologies.
  • Integrate all workstreams into a unified project plan and embed measurable outcomes and success indicators.
  • Manage budgets, resource planning, staffing, and project governance, including assurance and gate reviews.
  • Build and manage communication plans for internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive effective multi‑party collaboration and maintain productive relationships with sales, presales, designers, strategists, and business change partners.
  • Apply robust quality assurance, reporting processes, and maintain accurate financial and project documentation.
  • Lead risk, issue, and change management processes and ensure stakeholders are informed of impacts and mitigation actions.
  • Support presales activities through operational go‑live, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Provide leadership to project teams (direct and matrix) and contribute to continuous process improvement across project management practices

Who you are

  • Experienced in managing major complex ICT projects, with at least two years in customer-facing delivery roles.
  • Knowledgeable in project delivery frameworks (Waterfall, Agile or hybrid).
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at managing budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Able to respond effectively to dynamic environments and constructive challenges.
  • Confident in delivering presentations and representing project teams at senior levels.
  • Experienced in telecommunications environments.
  • Fluent in German at C-level.
  • Certified in Prince2 Foundation, PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent.
