About this Role
We are seeking a Cost Modelling Expert to support a major transformation within Network Strategy and Engineering, focused on commercialising network services for both internal and external customers while improving efficiency and service quality. This role plays a critical part in shaping and maintaining PxQxQ cost models, supporting budget planning, and enabling data-driven commercial and strategic decisions across Network Strategy and Engineering.
What you will do
- Support the conceptual design and ongoing development of the Network Strategy and Engineering service catalogue and PxQxQ cost models, in close collaboration with Finance.
- Define, maintain, and regularly update PxQxQ models across all Network Strategy and Engineering services, integrating price, quantity, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to detailed budget planning and tracking using a PxQxQ approach, including FTE planning and Capex, Opex, and depreciation structures.
- Oversee financial deliverables and ensure alignment across Network Strategy and Engineering vertical teams, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Analyse and benchmark costs against industry standards and competitors, identifying efficiency opportunities and proposing corrective actions.
- Assess the Network Strategy and Engineering service portfolio to identify gaps, overlaps, and rationalisation opportunities, supporting continuous improvement and innovation.
Who you are
- You bring strong knowledge of network or technology finance, cost modelling, depreciation, and asset management.
- You have experience working within complex operating models that span multiple legal entities and geographies.
- You demonstrate a commercially oriented mindset, supported by solid stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics or engineering and have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
- You are highly proficient in Excel, confident in executive-level presentations, and experienced in network planning or similar environments.
- You communicate effectively in English at a high professional level.
