About this Role

We are seeking a Business & Data Analyst to support cost governance, resource management, business case evaluation, and performance reporting within the Networks function. The role partners closely with Finance, HR, operational teams, and senior stakeholders to provide financial and headcount analysis, forecasting, reporting, and actionable insights. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic decision-making through robust analysis, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement of business case tracking and reporting frameworks.

What you’ll do

  • Track actual costs and headcount against approved business cases across Networks and provide regular analysis of performance and spending trends.
  • Analyse, validate, and document cost drivers, resource trends, and financial performance to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, and supporting analyses for leadership decision-making and group submissions.
  • Monitor key projects, identify emerging trends, provide early warnings, and support forecasting activities.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance business case tracking, reporting processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Execute and support resource management processes, including monthly headcount reporting, workforce analysis, productivity tracking, and data validation.
  • Support recharge calculations and analyses by collaborating with Finance, HR, Business Partners, and operational stakeholders.
  • Produce monthly reporting on spending, headcount, forecasts, budgets, and business case performance across different organisational dimensions.
  • Develop cost estimates and provide analytical support for month-end and forecasting activities.
  • Participate in business case development through rate card preparation, pricing simulations, reasonableness checks, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Monitor and report benefits delivered through transformation and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Extract and reconcile data from systems including SAP, VIBE, FinX, Anaplan, and Think Box to support reporting accuracy.
  • Deliver high-quality ad hoc analyses, reporting, and stakeholder requests in a timely manner.

Who you are

  • University graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technology management and/or finance environment.
  • Background in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in budget planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and project management.
  • Knowledge of the ICT industry and technology operations.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and collaborate across multiple business functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • ACCA or CIMA qualification is advantageous.
