About this Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to support business‑critical applications and systems within our IT Operations function in Pune. The role focuses on maintaining platform stability, driving operational excellence, resolving incidents efficiently, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.

What you will do

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for assigned applications and systems.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and alerts; identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Execute incident, problem, and change management activities in alignment with ITIL practices.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive permanent resolutions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain and update documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, quality, and operational standards.
  • Participate in on-call or shift support as required.

Contribute to stability, responsiveness, operational governance, and cross-team collaboration as defined in the role KPIs

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in IT operations, support, or application maintenance.
  • Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix or Windows systems, application support, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
  • Basic knowledge of networking, databases, and middleware.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Must have hands‑on knowledge of Tuxedo and WebLogic technologies.
