Job Responsibilities

  • The QA test Analyst is responsible for end to end testing delivery of specific work stream (Mobile/Fixed Line) from offshore, along with the help of the Offshore QA Testers.
  • Ensures the test delivery is of high quality and is coordinated well from offshore for multiple projects for respective work stream.
  • Ensures the accurate status reporting for the Vodafone stakeholders during various project phases. This includes sprint and PI levels.
  • Supports Test Manager to address performance issues, service quality and account quality reviews.
  • Participate in offshore Acceptance Testing Service demand process.
  • Will be responsible for estimating the user stories.
  • Creation of Project Test Concept/Plan.
  • Review and support other key client facing work products created by the QA Team.
  • Participate in the scrum ceremonies along with the Vodafone stakeholders.
  • Ensures there are no deviations in projects and release specific metrics and reporting.
  • Ensures KPI data tracking with high accuracy.
  • Ensures the appropriate closures of Project, Release specific risk and issues.
  • Good to have automation skills
  • Strong understanding of APIs (rest -assured) and tools like Postman

Education: Any graduation/post-graduation in Computer Science/Information Technology area.

Must Skills:

3-4 years of experience in Testing across the Agile methodologies in Telco Billing, Online and Mediation environments.

  • ISTQB foundation certification in Software testing (or equivalent) as a minimum
  • Experience of having worked in Agile and Scrum framework
  • Sound knowledge of UNIX and SQL
  • Amdocs Turbo Charging , Telco Billing, Online and Mediation environments , Java with Selenium
  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI
  • Ability of network analysis while testing front end applications
  • Experience of testing Billing/Mediation, CRM and / or Online Media web / WAP portals in a Telco environment
  • Understanding of the basic CRM journeys in Telecom domain for the customer.
  • Good in reporting and document preparation activity for the knowledge management.
  • Experience in Test management Tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of System, Integration and Regression testing of Telco systems with complex user interfaces.
