Job Description

The Change Communication Lead will define and deliver the communications and engagement strategy that tells the CTO Transformation story out across the business, and into CTO teams.

You will lead messaging on key Transformation themes, Digital and Network Transformation and Energy – for example crafting the narrative for how AI will change Digital and the experience of our colleagues and customers for the better, collaborating with the wider CTO teams to create and run campaigns that benefit the bigger picture

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Be great at stakeholder management and an awesome collaborator – able to confidently challenge and influence at all levels of the business in a positive and respectful way. You’ll be comfortable providing advice and constructive challenge on communication matters.
  • A passion for storytelling and an ability to weave many individual stories into a compelling narrative – communicating complicated, multi-faceted plans to wide range of audiences in a simple and engaging way.
  • Listen attentively to what our colleagues really need from us and from our leaders. You’ll be ready to take that insight to build and deliver comms that build advocacy.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at helping stakeholders to navigate multiple options to arrive at clear and compelling messaging.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – particularly for presentations and creation of plans and strategy.
  • Familiar with / experience of using: OneShot, Canva, Workplace, Video editing skills and producing live events

  • Be an active and collaborative member of the team, providing insight and feedback, and supporting and helping others in their development – and willing to muck in outside of your immediate remit to drive the whole team’s success.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at any one time.
