Job Description
At Virgin Media O2, we’re looking for a Head of Content, Value Added Services to join our dynamic TV & Entertainment team and lead our day‑to‑day relationship with one of our largest SVOD partners. This role owns the full commercial agenda for this partnership, as well as the technical integrations required to support our billing capabilities.
A key part of the role is to oversee all SVOD billing integrations across Virgin Media. This includes managing the annual CapEx budget, working closely with cross‑functional delivery teams, and ensuring every integration lands on time and within budget. You will also lead our research and data analytics function within TV & Entertainment, with the team reporting directly into this position.
This is a pivotal leadership role working with one of the world’s most influential entertainment brands. You’ll be responsible for maximising the value of our partnerships to drive long‑term growth and profitability for the business.
You will act as a strategic thought leader, collaborating closely with our commercial, product, and delivery teams. Externally, you’ll build strong relationships with senior and executive stakeholders across partner organisations, helping us deliver on our ambition to become the UK’s entertainment provider of choice. A passion for entertainment, a bold approach to commercial innovation, and the ability to turn ideas into measurable results are essential.
We’re looking for someone with experience in a consumer‑facing industry such as technology, telecoms, gaming, media, or content. You’ll bring sharp commercial instincts, exceptional relationship‑building skills, strong P&L ownership, and the ability to leverage partnerships in a fast‑moving, competitive market.
