If you enjoy delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a supportive team, we have a fantastic opportunity for you at our Bristol Imperial Vets for Pets practice.

What your typical day will look like:

  • Providing outstanding service to our clients while ensuring the highest standard of care for their pets, acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team
  • Building strong, positive relationships with clients, their pets, and your colleagues
  • Ensuring every client visit is a positive experience, so clients leave feeling confident, supported, and happy to return
  • Greeting clients warmly and offering support, guidance, and clear information
  • Managing payments and booking future appointments with confidence
  • Coordinating the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using our online booking system, so good computer skills are essential

This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week (shift details to be confirmed). Some weekend work may be required.

The attributes we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar role
  • Friendly and approachable, serving as the first point of contact for clients and their pets
  • Able to provide accurate guidance by staying informed about all practice services and offerings
  • Calm, attentive, and focused on meeting client needs with care and professionalism
  • Enthusiastic and driven, with a genuine passion for both customer service and animal welfare
  • Emotionally resilient, able to support clients during difficult times while celebrating joyful moments, such as a puppy’s first visit
  • Positive, engaging, and able to contribute to a welcoming and friendly practice environment
  • Confident with computers and proficient in using social media
