Job Description

Salary up to £30,000 FTE, DOE | Full or Part Time | No Weekends or OOH

Are you an experienced RVN looking for a new challenge where you can use your full range of nursing skills and continue developing your clinical interests?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Spalding Vets for Pets.

About us

We’re proud to offer an environment where our nurses are encouraged to make full use of the skills they’ve worked hard to develop. With a varied caseload, excellent facilities and a supportive team around you, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to grow clinically and pursue your individual interests.
We actively support CPD and postgraduate development, including funded certificates.

Based in the market town of Spalding, our modern practice has been designed to provide high clinical standards alongside a welcoming and enjoyable working environment for our team and clients.

About you

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic RVN who enjoys being part of a busy, progressive first-opinion practice.

You’ll ideally have at least three years’ post-qualification experience, alongside strong general nursing and customer service skills. Most importantly, you’ll share our commitment to excellent patient care and animal welfare.

Our RVNs are encouraged to use their full range of nursing skills, while developing areas of clinical interest that are important to them.

Hours

We can consider full or part-time hours and are happy to discuss a working pattern that suits you.
The practice is open between 9am and 7pm, with:

  • No weekends
  • No bank holidays
  • No OOH

What we offer

  • Competitive salary up to £30,000 FTE, depending on experience
  • Generous CPD allowance, including funded certificates
  • Paid professional memberships including RCVS, BVNA and VDS
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Regular social events and a focus on colleague wellbeing
  • Excellent career development opportunities
  • No weekends, bank holidays or OOH
  • The benefits of a locally owned practice with the support of a larger organisation
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards, including 20% off at Pets at Home, The Groom Room and the Vet Group
