What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Manager of Network Systems, you lead the delivery team for Network Planning Platform and ATOLL, you will enable RF planners to make data driven decisions on planning the next gen network for Verizon.

In this role you will be responsible for

  • Experience/Ability to learn Network Domain
  • Owning the program delivery and working closely with the onshore manager and the teams (India and US). Including performing technical work directly and guiding the team on architecture, design, and on-the-job challenges.
  • Lead a team of high performing engineers working on multiple projects and releases
  • Managing vendors on the ARTs or Non-ART programs/domain teams.
  • Conceptualize, Manage the execution of large projects
  • Defining, measuring, and driving teams to achieve KPIs.
  • Defining the product vision and customer experience and bringing it to the global market.
  • Forging strong relationships with external partners and cross-functional teams to get it all done.
  • Mentor team members in software development skills and leadership responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to build business cases for new technology adoption
  • Managing and tracking budgets and financials.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • 10 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Network, Telecom domain knowledge and Industry view
  • Experience in Agile (SAFe/Scrum) delivery management.
  • Software development experience in a diverse set of areas including scalable and responsive web applications, native app development, reusable and extensible frameworks.
  • Experience in diverse technology stack including Java/J2EE, Spring Reactive, Micro-services, C++, React JS and Micro Frontends including experience leading multiple technical teams in such technologies.
  • Ability to build SME knowledge in the team and set goals for the individual which will effectively utilize their individual skills.
  • Experience in cross skilling team members
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and operations to coordinate adoption of projects

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experiencing leading product teams, especially cross-functional teams, with ability to execute on multiple assignments independently and proactively.
