This role will give you the opportunity to take the lead on how data stewardship helps solve business issues across BA Wind. We are looking for an Information Specialist to join our Data Management team. We reside in BA Wind - Digitalization and we aim to bring our organization onto the next level when it comes to our data, by setting our data strategy and the way we work with data, but also by enabling the execution of it.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the strategy for data quality within BA Wind and detail the roadmap for relevant activities to support the data governance frameworks, policies and standards that ensure data quality and security
- Lead initiatives to improve data quality across BA Wind by establishing data quality metrics, monitoring activities, and driving solutions to improve data quality
- Work closely with IT, data engineers, data experts, and business experts to define and document data definitions, data lineage, and metadata management practices in our data catalogue supporting the overall data management roadmap
- Lead the way on the development of a data-driven culture by promoting the value of data and analytics across the organization, where you support in translating business goals into actionable data strategies
- Responsible for building data centric communities that foster a collaborative and inclusive environment to encourage innovation and continuous improvement
- Align across BAs with other data experts on organization objectives, best practices, tooling, procedures, and general change management
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data and Information Management, Engineering, experience from a related field, or relevant industry experience
- 5-8 years of experience in data and information management or similar roles
- Strong expertise in implementing data governance initiatives in a complex organization
- Prior experience in the wind or energy industry is a plus
- Experience working with data catalogue tools (Alation, Collibra, etc.) and data quality management practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex data environments
- The ability to connect to people on different levels, take them along on the journey and make change happen, a good sense of humor is a plus
