About the role
We’re looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking Supplier Collaboration Manager to join United Utilities’ Commercial team during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
In this role, you’ll help shape how we work with suppliers, driving performance, strengthening relationships, and embedding ethical and sustainable practices across our supply chain. You’ll work with colleagues at all levels and with key external partners to deliver better outcomes for our business, our customers, and the communities we serve.

What you’ll do
- Develop and embed supplier collaboration frameworks, processes, and governance
- Monitor supply chain performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvements
- Lead the United Supply Chain programme, promoting ethical and sustainable practices
- Work with stakeholders to strengthen key supplier relationships
- Oversee supplier segmentation and engagement approaches
- Maintain and promote the Supplier Code of Conduct
- Support ESG and sustainability initiatives across our supply chain
- Deliver supplier events and communications to share insights and priorities
- Manage regulatory and reporting requirements
- Line manage and support a Supplier Collaboration Specialist
What we’re looking for
We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. You’ll likely bring:
- Experience in procurement, commercial, or supply chain roles
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence influencing and communicating with a wide range of audiences
- Experience working with suppliers or partners to improve performance
- An interest in sustainability, ESG, or responsible sourcing
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Equivalent experience is valued just as highly as formal qualifications.
