What You Will Be Doing:
You'll be responsible for analysis and interpretation of flow and pressure data to ensure effective and efficient deployment of detection resources with your business area for both DMA and Upstream leakage activities as well as:
- Data accuracy & analysis: Ensure all reported data is reliable, accurate, and complete through collecting, processing, and analysing operational and asset data.
- Leakage monitoring & response: Monitor flow changes, identify leakage issues, and support timely and effective resolution.
- Reporting & systems expertise: Produce DMA and upstream leakage reports and act as a key user for systems like Netbase & INS, maintaining accurate asset data.
- Operational planning & coordination: Identify priority areas, schedule detection team activities, and collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency and meet targets.
- Compliance & continuous improvement: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, review data quality, and take responsibility for personal development.
What We Are Looking for
To be considered for this role you'll need to be educated to a good standard – minimum ONC or equivalent qualification and be able to demonstrate good technical understanding. You'll have an understanding of water network connectivity, pressure control and leakage detection methods as well as understanding the impact Leakage has on UUs vision to be a world class operator of utility infrastructure. You'll also be:

- Technical & system expertise: Experienced in Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel), Microsoft Teams (including Planner), and Netbase.
- Industry experience: Significant operational experience within the water industry, contributing to high-performance team delivery.
