Job Description

As a Port Delivery Team Manager for Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional Shore Excursions operations across over 30 ports throughout Australia, ensuring consistent service quality and operational excellence.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Leading and managing a team of direct reports and casual staff ensures efficient processes at ports through constant collaboration and coordination between team members.
  • Overseeing Shore Excursions delivery across more than 30 Australian ports maintains consistent service quality and operational excellence throughout the region.
  • Developing continuous communication with cruise ships and stakeholders helps build strong relationships and ensures smooth operations.
  • Working closely with Key Account Managers strengthens commercial relationships with Cruise Lines through providing relevant feedback and suggestions after each operation.
  • Managing operational incidents or last-minute changes at the pier requires prompt communication with suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supporting casual team members with necessary TUI trainings and cruise line specific preparations guarantees operational readiness before each season commences.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous cruise industry experience is essential, with a strong understanding of cruise operations and in-depth knowledge of Australian ports and geography.
  • The ability to manage a team and deliver results demonstrates the leadership capabilities needed for this role.
  • Integrity stands at the forefront of performance, with the capability to lead by example in all situations.
  • Comfort in leading change and resilience when facing uncertainty helps navigate the dynamic nature of cruise operations.
  • Problem-solving skills enable independent work and drive improvements to operational processes while supporting our digital culture.
