Job Description

Join our Operations Team as a Port Delivery Guides Scheduler in Singapore. In this role, you will be mainly responsible of the planning of guides in Singapore to ensure smooth shore excursion.

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is a specialist business providing cruise ship handling services to cruise lines in destinations throughout the world. You will be working closely with various cruise lines and their clients in their daily operations in Singapore.

ABOUT YOU

  • Have a methodical, organized approach towards the execution of assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to use MS Office tools such as Excel, Teams, One Note & Outlook to high standards.
  • Is comfortable leading change and resilient to ambiguity or setbacks.
  • Solve problems independently and/or make suggestions how to improve ways of working.
  • A genuinely helpful, flexible, and professional personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Previous experience in travel/tourism is advantageous.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Recruit guides through Guides Association websites and other channels, coordinate onboarding, and set up Payroll
  • Plan and schedule guides for shore excursion and tour programs in Singapore, ensuring coverage aligns with operational requirements.
  • Share requirements for each operational day and ensure all relevant documentation is created, completed, and distributed.
  • Ensure operation changes are managed to a high level of detail, including responding to last-minute changes or urgent requests.
  • Assist with the supervision, coordination, and coaching of guides during operations to ensure positive outcomes for guests, guides, and cruise line stakeholders.
  • Maintain the guide database with accurate and updated information including availability, contact details, certifications, and operational notes.
  • Develop and maintain guide feedback documentation to support consistent development, improvement, and service quality.
  • Receive final working hours from guides and ensure payroll calculations are processed accurately and on time.
  • Complete general office and administrative duties including data entry, post-operation reporting, spreadsheet development, answering phone calls, and supporting operational documentation needs.
  • Provide occasional after-hours support as required (late night / early morning / weekend texts) to ensure operational continuity.
