Job Description

As a Key Account Manager North at Marella, you'll drive engagement, growth and product knowledge with 3rd party agents by being visible in agencies and meeting agents as the face of Marella, forging strategic partnerships, exploring potential markets and fostering relationships with key stakeholders while implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to accelerate growth in Marella Cruises and other Marella brands, increase awareness of Marella's unique selling points and deliver regional sales targets.

While this is a national role, we are ideally seeking someone based in the North of England due to the regular travel required across the region. Please reach out to hiring manager Steven Heath (steven.heath@tui.co.uk) for any questions about the role.

The role will be published until 10th Sep.

ABOUT OUR OFFER

  • Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.

  • Flexible working: Work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We encourage a healthy work-life balance with a dynamic working environment.

  • A career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.

  • Broaden your network: We champion intercultural collaboration and provide opportunities to work on global projects and teams.

  • Community: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll act as a key representative of Marella as a front line to agents within the assigned region by organising and planning regular agent interactions, being visible in agencies and meeting agents as the face of Marella to maximise both agent and customer satisfaction and strengthen Marella's regional presence.

  • You'll take responsibility for driving growth within the assigned region by identifying, qualifying and executing opportunities and sales plans that will accelerate growth in Marella Cruises and other Marella brands, proactively seeking out and pursuing new growth opportunities to expand market share and deliver regional sales targets.

  • You'll prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations in line with Tour Operator priorities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective strategies for achieving sales targets and expanding market share to secure agent commitment and drive commercial performance.

  • You'll act as an active 'voice of the agent' with all facets and areas of the business, escalating key service issues and feedback as appropriate while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure agent needs are understood and addressed to improve service delivery and strengthen agent relationships.

  • You'll stay up to date with industry trends, developments and competitor movements within the region, building and maintaining a solid network of industry contacts to ensure Marella maintains competitive advantage and responds effectively to market changes.

  • You'll represent Marella at regional and industry events, promoting Marella's unique selling points and brand values to increase awareness of what makes Marella stand out from competitors and strengthen Marella's market position while building and maintaining relationships with agents and key stakeholders within the region.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have proven experience in account management, trade relations or sales within the travel industry with a proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

  • You possess solid commercial acumen and understanding of industry trends and market dynamics with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to engage and influence agents.

  • You demonstrate solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to build and maintain relationships with agents and internal stakeholders.

  • You're self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for delivering sales performance and willingness to travel extensively within the region (minimum 3 days per week) and undertake occasional overseas travel.

From a workplace to a place to belong. At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless.

We are committed to supporting candidates with disabilities and impairments so if you require any support, please do let us know.
