Job Description

As a Crew Travel Officer at TUI fly Western Region, you will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective and seamless travel arrangements for our flight and cabin crew. From planning hotels, ground, and air transport to managing last-minute roster changes, you will oversee every aspect of crew travel. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with suppliers, optimize contracts, and maintain high-quality service standards. If you have good language skills in both Dutch and Enlgish and thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving, this is your chance to be part of a dedicated team ensuring smooth crew operations across the Western Region.
We are happy to consider this role on a hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days per week based onsite at our Rijswijk office. You will initially commence on a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to convert to permanent.

​​​​​​ABOUT THE JOB

  • Cost-Effective Crew Travel: Ensure the efficient and cost-effective planning of crew travel.

  • Daily Crew Travel Planning: Organize hotels, ground, and air transport for flight and cabin crew across TUI fly Western region.

  • Roster Adjustments: Manage travel adjustments in response to roster changes up to the 72-hour OCC timeframe.

  • Contracted & Ad-Hoc Travel Arrangements: Book travel within negotiated terms and find alternative solutions for ad-hoc operations.

  • OCC Handover & Briefing: Provide proactive updates to Crew Travel Officers within the 72-hour timeframe on potential challenges.

  • Supplier & Contract Management: Maintain professional relationships and manage daily allotments with travel suppliers.

  • Data & Flight Coordination: Keep IDPS data up to date and secure positioning flights, IATA flights, transport, and crew hotels.

  • Lease-In Project Planning: Ensure timely organization and coordination of all lease-in projects.

  • Quality Control & Hotel Inspections: Advise contract managers on hotel purchases and conduct regular inspections to ensure service quality.

  • Crew Support & Process Improvement: Address crew inquiries, distribute information sheets, and suggest improvements based on crew feedback.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have a secondary school degree

  • Experienced in a logistical role

  • Strong language skills in both English and Dutch (written and verbal)

  • Excellent planning and organisation skill

  • Excellent communicator with solid commercial, social and negotiating skills

  • Eager to always find the best and most efficient solutions to problems

  • Able to operate in a changing environment and under time pressure

  • Self-motivated and autonomous worker with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively

  • A logical thinker with the ability to generate ideas and alternatives
