ABOUT THE JOB

• As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional or practice-based team that owns its software products from conception to operation.
• You will work in an agile environment, applying software engineering best practices and bringing a strong DevSecOps mindset to the team.
• You’ll develop scalable and resilient cloud-native applications using modern tools and languages.
• You’ll strive for a high degree of automation, clean architecture, and robust quality practices with a customer-centric approach. business value efficiently.
• You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend applications in a cloud-native (AWS) environment.
• You thrive in an international, multicultural team and are passionate about technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.

ABOUT YOU

• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Node.js, or Go
• Experience with backend frameworks, especially Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch)
• Experience building APIs with REST or GraphQL and documenting them using OpenAPI
• Experience working with AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI
