
Warehouse Administrator
Job Description
We operate the UK’s ONLY flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network. We buy, warehouse, pick and distribute products to the nation’s best loved food and drink brands every single day and provide the best experience to our customers.
We are looking for Warehouse Administrator to join our team with a real can-do attitude who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week working 8.00am - 16.30pm Monday - Thursday and 12.00pm - 20.30pm on Fridays.
- Process and distribute additional customer orders, ensuring all requests are accurately allocated to the appropriate warehouse chambers
- Action order cancellations received from the Customer Service team and communicate updates to relevant departments
- Enter completed orders into the Minster system, accurately recording any amendments or changes
- Generate invoices for emergency orders (TFTs) and provide them promptly to the Transport team once orders have been assembled
- Prepare driver and customer invoices, ensuring all documentation is ready for Transport collection
- Release, prioritise and print orders for the next day’s picking activities, organising them according to loading schedules and dispatch times
- Produce and prioritise labels for non-voice picking operations, including chicken product labels
- Maintain effective communication with Customer Services, Transport and Warehouse teams to support smooth day-to-day operations
- Compile, organise and maintain warehouse documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Support the Warehouse Manager with the filing and maintenance of Health & Safety and training records as required
Essential:
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders using a range of communication methods
- Able to organise and manage workload effectively, with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet business needs
- Comfortable using computer systems and standard Microsoft Office applications
- Able to work accurately with numerical and written information, with appropriate support or adjustments where required
- Able to work collaboratively across multiple departments to support operational objectives
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based support role
Desirable:
- Experience working within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Familiarity with order processing, transport administration or warehouse management systems
- Understanding of warehouse operations and dispatch processes
