
Talent Manager - Performance - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Job Description
As a Talent Manager for Performance, you will continually scan the external market to ensure the way we approach performance management is best in class and right for Tesco.�
You'll design the Group-wide blueprints, tools and resources for how we manage performance at Tesco and support talent and partnering teams to deliver this for colleagues.
- I bring Tesco�s performance approach to life, ensuring it is clear, consistent and works well for colleagues and leaders at every level.
- I lead the end to end Performance Cycle, owning how it is designed, timed and delivered so performance activities are meaningful and drive the right behaviours.
- I own the Performance Cycle blueprint, setting out what good looks like for each stage of the cycle and providing simple tools and guidance to support high quality performance conversations.
- I bring future thinking and external insight on how performance management can best support a strong, inclusive high performance culture, continuously improving how performance is experienced at Tesco.
- I am the business lead for the Performance Management System, working with Technology to improve how the system supports performance today and how it needs to evolve in the future.
- I enable talent and partnering teams to deliver performance activity well, setting clear expectations and ensuring a consistent, high quality experience across markets and functions.
- I work closely with market talent teams to understand what matters most to their businesses, embedding the performance approach locally and improving it through ongoing feedback.
- I work closely with Capability, DE&I and Workforce Planning to ensure our performance approach is connected, practical and aligned to wider talent priorities.
