We’re looking for a Product Manager to drive the evolution of Tesco Tills, a core platform
powering millions of customer interactions every week. This is a unique opportunity to

As a Product Manager in the Tesco Tills team, you'll own the strategy and delivery of features.
• You’ll also play a key role in improving both customer and colleague experiences,
delivering save to invest opportunities, and supporting wider business priorities.
• You’ll report directly to a Lead Product Manager, and work closely with other
product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts across our London, Welwyn
and Budapest offices.
• Define and own vision, strategy and product roadmap for Tesco Tills with other
product managers, aligned with customer needs and business goals.
• Use customer insights, behavioural data, and market trends to identify opportunities
for improvement.
• Collaborate with user experience design and research, engineering, analytics and
business teams to bring ideas to life.
• Write clear, concise user stories and manage the product backlog.
• Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives with your squad.
• Ensure smooth delivery and high-quality releases through rigorous testing and
stakeholder alignment.
• End-to-end UI product management across discovery, testing, build, and deployment
with engineering and design.
• Knowledge of large-scale system interactions and key health metrics (uptime, SLOs,
response times).
• Experienced in agile practices to deliver high‑quality products.
• Familiarity with user research, A/B testing, and design thinking principles.
• The ability to take end-to-end ownership of a User Interface focused product, while
confidently working across service layers in an API-driven technology stack.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguity, form hypotheses, build MVPs, run
experiments, and drive data‑led decisions.
• Technical awareness to influence solution design and support engineering
estimation.
• Strong prioritisation and decision‑making balancing value, complexity,
dependencies, and business priorities.
• A data informed mindset that balances customer needs with business value, and the
influence to bring stakeholders together to accelerate decision-making and deliver
results.
• Strong communicator able to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences.
• Fast learner with the ability to pick up new product domains quickly.
• A passion for solving real customer problems and delivering elegant solutions.
Desirable:
• Knowledge and experience of one or more of:
o International experience would be useful, particularly if you’ve experience
working with customers and stakeholders in Central Europe and Republic of
Ireland
o Experience delivering a successful migration from a legacy system ensuring a
smooth transition of known features is an advantage for this role.
o Interactions between software and hardware
