Job Description

Were looking for a Marketing Executive to support the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing activity across Tesco Ireland.

Youll work across a broad range of marketing activity, including seasonal events, customer communications, social media, partnerships and wider business initiatives. Youll help ensure our communications are joined up and that activity is delivered effectively, accurately and on time.

This is a great opportunity to gain broad exposure across a range of marketing disciplines and would suit someone who is highly organised, commercially minded and looking to develop their marketing career.

This is a 6 month contract.

  • Supporting the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns from initial brief through to execution.
  • Coordinating campaign timelines, approvals and stakeholder communications to ensure activity is delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of the annual marketing calendar and initiatives that drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Supporting seasonal campaigns including Christmas, Easter, Summer and Back to School.
  • Coordinating customer-facing campaign assets, communications and marketing materials.
  • Helping to ensure marketing activity is consistent with brand guidelines and customer priorities.
  • Managing multiple projects across different business priorities.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external agencies, media partners and suppliers.
  • Coordinating briefing and feedback processes between key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining marketing plans, campaign trackers and project documentation.
  • Supporting campaign reporting and post-campaign reviews.
  • Supporting budget administration and supplier invoicing.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve ways of working and supporting new marketing initiatives.
  • Bringing strong planning, organisation and attention to detail across all projects.
  • A degree in marketing, communications or a related area, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Confidence using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to take ownership and solve problems.
  • The ability to adapt, influence and build effective relationships across the business.
  • An interest in developing your marketing knowledge and supporting new ideas and initiatives.
  • Experience within FMCG, retail or an agency environment would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with agencies or external partners, or exposure to events, sponsorship, campaign or budget management, would also be beneficial.
