What you'll do

  • You support user research activities, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights, identify user needs & map customer journeys.
  • You support the creation of wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that align with design guidelines & user-centered design principles.
  • You collaborate with the UX team & product owners to contribute to the design process, ensuring consistency and excellence in the user interactions.
  • You participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews to provide input and feedback.
  • You communicate and present research insights and designs to the UX team and product owners.

What you bring

  • Student in Interaction Design / Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Communication Design, Product Design or related fields
  • Passionate about user experience and a desire to learn and grow in the UX field
  • Basic knowledge of user research methods & tools
  • Basic knowledge of design tools
  • Strong communication skills in English, German is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Ability to turn concepts into concrete visuals and iterating them
  • Team player, enthusiastic & open-minded, customer-oriented, self-driven & reliable, eager to learn
  • Working from office, at least ocassionally, is required
  • Bonus points: Knowledge in Figma, UI5 and/or SAP Fiori is a plus

We are a team of UX Researchers and Designers who believe that User Experience Design is key to the success of (software) products & services.

As a UX team in SAPs IT organization, our mission is to continuously improve the user experience of SAP’s employee- and customer-facing applications. We team-up with Process Managers and Product Owners to create experiences that are easy, effective and joyful to use.


We're looking for a passionate working student to join our team and contribute to our UX research and design activities in our private cloud environment. You will work in a team of experienced UX professionals along the user-centered design process: gathering the user’s needs through interviews and Usability Tests, sketching ideas, creating mockups and clickable high-fidelity prototypes

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
