What you´ll do

As a UX Designer (f/m/d) you will hands-on work on future sustainability solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge for the greater good and to support a more sustainable future. As well learn how to transform high level ideas to concrete products with a user centered approach.

Expectations:

You can identify and apply user centered methodologies to quickly turn high level ideas into tangible prototypes
You support teams working on projects in different stages of the design process
You are familiar with design thinking techniques and methodologies and put strong focus on usability when designing
You conduct user research and user testing (qualitative and quantitative)
You prototype low-fi and high-fi mockups independently or within the team
You are familiar with human computer interaction and usability principles
You have a basic understanding of sustainability challenges and solutions

What you bring

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's / Master degree related to Human computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science or similar
An existing portfolio showcasing past projects
Experience with Figma
Language skills: Fluent English
Location: Living close to Berlin to be able to commute to the office
Ability to work independently on given tasks with support from a highly motivated team and come up with own ideas on how to solve challenges
Interest in digital innovation, sustainability and in discovering how to innovate interactions between humans and machines
Plus:
- Experience working with complex design libraries
- Experience with AI tools in UX context
- Frontend development knowledge and technical background

Meet your team

The Sustainability Growth Unit empowers global customers to adopt, derive, and extend value from SAP’s Sustainability solutions by delivering innovative, end-to-end use cases rooted in user research, embedded AI, and data-centric design - accelerating sustainable outcomes, user satisfaction, and long-term impact.
With a team size of over 500 people the growth unit is organized and based out of various global locations.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
