Company Description

Job Description

What you'll build

You'll work on real deliverables, not shadow tasks. From supporting the preparation, analysis, and reporting of forecasts and quarterly results of SAP Group, to assisting in the analysis and assessment of its broader business development of SAP Group — your work sits at the heart of Group Controlling. You'll assist the preparation of standard and ad-hoc reports, help controllers navigate the quarterly financial closing process, and support in preparing presentations for the Management Board and Supervisory Board. Your contributions connect directly to your team's goals. You'll leave with a portfolio of SAP work you can build on.

What you'll bring

You're a student (f/m/d) ready to contribute alongside your studies. You're curious, adapt quickly, and stay resilient as priorities evolve. You show accountability, think analytically, and work in a systematic and effective way - both independently and in collaboration across teams. You're building your foundations in business and AI — and you take initiative to apply them. You bring emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to every interaction.

  • Student (f/m/d) of a university or university of applied sciences (FH) ideally in Business Administration / Controlling
  • First practical experiences in a Controlling/Finance related function is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to easily get acquainted with new IT landscape
  • Good written and verbal language and communication skills, both in English and German

Your CV in English language is required.

Where you belong

As a working student you will be part of SAP Next Gen, a global network of students and early professionals growing together. You'll access mentors, development programmes, and peers building careers alongside you. It's a place to start something real.

The Group Controlling team belongs to Global Controlling. SAP’s Group Controlling team allows SAP to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness as well as quality of the financial performance management reporting and is the contact for corporate-level steering-relevant information and financial business insights.

Within Group Controlling, the members are experienced Controllers that proactively and collectively perform the tasks they are assigned to. Close interaction and collaboration with all controlling teams and a broad range of finance and business functions within the company would be essential. The Group Controlling team drives the corporate-level forecasting, the quarterly latest estimates process as well as the quarterly actuals analysis. Being part of Group Controlling, team members are responsible to provide transparency on SAP’s corporate financial performance to the Executive Board and deliver best quality services to all internal stakeholders supported by the organization.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
