What you'll build

The working student will help product managers to define and refine innovative products and capabilities that are part of the Value Chain Analysis (VCA) development program.

The responsibilities include analyzing, supporting, and clearly documenting product specifications and backlogs, especially those related to management accounting and logistics reporting. These tasks often lead to major changes in company financial and logistics processes, such as recording transactions, monitoring activities, and ensuring effective responses to both internal and external requirements.

The working student also assists product managers in evaluating and understanding these evolving processes, enabling organizations to adapt their procedures for continued compliance and efficiency.

Additionally, the role may involve suggesting and implementing AI solutions, particularly to address challenges expected from future subcontracting processes. The student will gain insight into how such technologies can automate reporting, improve oversight, and streamline communication among all stakeholders, making operations run more smoothly.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study:
  o Bachelor or Master student in business administration, ideally in combination with technology and a high interest in logistics and supply chain questions
• Computer skills:
  o Ideally basic SAP S/4HANA, SAP AI desired but not mandatory
• Language skills: fluent in English, German is a plus
• Soft skills:
  o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  o Agile and flexible mindset with strong communication skills in English
  o Motivated, independent, and target-oriented work approach
   Other important skills/experience:
  o ideally with SAP product, but not mandatory
• Working from Munich/Garching office is not required, but frequently desired, following SAP’s overall home office policies

Where you belong

You help the Private Cloud central product management team to take care of end-to-end processes and products helping our customers when tasks are crossing line-of-business applications.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
