About SAP Labs Network and SAP Labs Vietnam
SAP Labs Network is the global R&D setup where over 55,000 engineers around the world create, operate and support the most innovative enterprise solutions for SAP’s customers worldwide. What you bring
You bring a Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, with 8–12+ years of UX experience and 3–5+ years of UX leadership or people management experience. You have strong enterprise product and systems design experience, with proven experience building, scaling, or leading UX teams. You bring deep leadership capability across team development, performance management, hiring support, resource planning, operational maturity, and organizational change. Your expertise spans UX strategy, design systems, accessibility, governance, research-informed decision-making, and enterprise scalability. You can connect design and research decisions to business outcomes, product quality, roadmap priorities, and customer value. You communicate clearly with executives, product, engineering, customers, and partners, and can lead distributed teams through ambiguity and operational tradeoffs. Experience with AI-driven or AI-assisted product experiences, Responsible AI, and AI experience evaluation is expected.
What you'll build
In this role, you'll build, lead, and develop a UX design team responsible for SAP enterprise product experiences. You'll be accountable for team goals, delivery quality, people development, performance management, and operational decisions that support business-critical and innovative outcomes. You'll define design strategy, UX standards, governance mechanisms, design system practices, accessibility expectations, and research-informed ways of working across product areas. You'll guide teams in designing user flows, prototypes, interaction models, product specifications, and scalable enterprise experiences based on business requirements and user needs. Your work will strengthen UX maturity by improving collaboration, critique culture, operating rhythms, hiring support, and team capability. You'll also establish frameworks for AI experience evaluation, including trust, explainability, fairness, reliability, output quality, task completion, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
Where you belong
You'll lead a local UX team within an international UX organization in SAP Customer Experience, working on cloud-native back-office solutions for Consumer Industry customers, including Retail and CPG companies. You'll work daily with teams and stakeholders across Asia, EMEA, and the US. You'll help shape team capability across AI design, from embedded AI experiences to emerging agentic design practices. SAP-sponsored learning hours and resources support both your leadership growth and your team’s capability building. This role is for a people manager who develops people, strengthens global collaboration, and aligns user value, accessibility, business outcomes, and AI quality.
