What you`ll do:

Summary:

  • Develop and maintain strategic UX roadmaps that align with our product vision and business objectives for BTP.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective information sharing across the organization.
  • Facilitate org-wide collaboration and evangelize UX impact to integrate UX practices and principles into all stages of product development.
  • Lead Discovery Phase in Product Leadership Teams.
  • Work with UX designers, UA developers, product managers and engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes for our users.
  • Drive UX Consistency and standards compliance to improve design excellence and consistency across SAP’s portfolio.
  • Embed usage analytics, user research and feedback in decision making and validation.

The Role:


As a User Experience Lead (f/m/d) in BTP Foundation Design, you will take on a leadership role driving the user experience for the Technical Services area within BTP Foundation. As part of a Product Leadership Team, you will shape the usability of technical services that are essential for both internal and external adoption of the BTP. As UX leader, you embrace the harmonized product operating model and ensure that user experience considerations are at the forefront of our product development process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to advocate for user-centered design and integrate UX best practices throughout the organization.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Computer Science, HCI, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of professional experience in user experience, product management or development, with experience in a lead role preferred.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder communication, including the ability to manage and facilitate effective information sharing across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead org-wide and cross-discipline collaboration efforts, developing and executing strategic UX roadmaps that deliver impactful results.
  • Experience in development or design for technology platform services or a strong interest in technical administrator and developer services and users.
  • A deep commitment to user-centered design and a track record of driving user-focused improvements in complex technical environments.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written, and fluent German preferred.
