Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
The Trading Partner Services – Supplier Integration Consultant (TPS-SIC) is a senior, consultative role within the Customer Success Services organization. The TPS-SIC serves as a trusted advisor to buyers and trading partners across the full SAP Business Network portfolio, spanning Indirect Procurement, Direct Material Supply Chain, and Logistics solutions.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end integration engagements—guiding customers and their trading partners through complex onboarding, system integration, and process optimization initiatives. You will combine deep functional and technical knowledge with a consultative approach to understand customer business objectives, map current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver scalable integration solutions that drive measurable value.
A core element of this role is an AI-forward mindset: the TPS-SIC actively analyzes business processes—both internal and within customer environments—to identify where artificial intelligence and intelligent automation can drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage across the trading partner ecosystem.
SCOPE OF SOLUTIONS
The TPS-SIC brings strong functional knowledge and expertise and operates across all pillars of the SAP Business Network, including:
- Indirect Procurement – Purchase orders, advanced shipping notifications, goods receipts, catalog management (CIF/Punchout), and invoices, including eInvoicing government mandates
- Direct Material Supply Chain – Scheduling agreements, forecast collaboration and supply chain collaboration for direct materials and manufacturing
- Logistics – Freight collaboration, global track and trace, and carrier integration

- Develop and present tailored integration strategies and roadmaps aligned to customer objectives, industry best practices, and SAP Business Network capabilities
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant recommendations for stakeholders at all levels, including executive sponsors and operational teams
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers in customer and partner organizations

- Educate buyers, suppliers, and carrier partners on integration functionality, deployment processes, and best practices across all Business Network solutions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM and project tracking records to ensure visibility across internal teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Solution Advisory, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to align integration delivery with commercial and strategic objectives
- Contribute to the development of best practices, playbooks, knowledge base articles, and enablement materials for Trading Partner Services
- May assume team lead responsibilities, providing coaching, guidance, and quality oversight to less senior Integration Consultants
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal forums, surfacing insights that inform product roadmap, process improvements, and go-to-market strategies
AI Mindset & Business Process Innovation
- Apply an AI-forward mindset to continuously evaluate customer and internal business processes for opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent automation
- Identify use cases where AI capabilities—including predictive analytics, natural language processing, anomaly detection, and process automation—can improve trading partner operations, reduce manual effort, and accelerate cycle times
- Collaborate with customers and internal product/innovation teams to assess feasibility, define business cases, and pilot AI-driven improvements within integration and supply chain workflows
- Stay current with emerging AI trends and capabilities within the SAP ecosystem and the broader enterprise technology landscape, bringing relevant insights to customer engagements
