We are looking for an accomplished senior SAP consultant who is well versed in delivering consistent, high-quality results to join our Private Cloud Operations (PCO) Regional EMEA Delivery team as a Technology Senior Consultant. You will contribute to SAP's global strategy by supporting our customers with their SAP S/4 HANA adoption on their path to becoming autonomous enterprises.
What You’ll Do:
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on SAP Technology professional to join our Regional Delivery EMEA team with a strong Customer First mindset. As a team, we own regional delivery and engage with customers across three key segments: Proactive, Reactive, and Continuous Improvement.
Proactive Engagement
As a core team member, you will be assigned to a dedicated top customer account within the EMEA region for a defined period. In collaboration with front-office teams and the TechOps delivery organization, you will design and drive a fit-for-purpose engagement model. Your goal will be to maximize customer value and proactively address critical topics that could impact daily operations.
Reactive Support
In this role, you will act as a catalyst to stabilize critical situations and restore business-as-usual operations (“Red-to-Green”). Leveraging your expertise, structured thinking, teamwork, and strong customer empathy, you will contribute in areas such as:
- Driving demand-based engagement in critical incident management (e.g., major outages, war room situations)
- Supporting maintenance scenarios, including disaster recovery and backup & restore
- Addressing service entitlement challenges, delays, and complex customer requests
- Providing Hypercare support for specific customer cases
Continuous Improvement
You will identify customer pain points and value leakage across the GCO region and contribute to improving service delivery. In addition, you will periodically participate in strategic Proof of Concept (PoC) and Pathfinder initiatives, representing the delivery perspective.
What You Bring:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis, system performance management, database administration, and lifecycle events (upgrades and updates)
- Practical knowledge of SAP technologies such as SAP NetWeaver, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP HANA, and SAP Sybase ASE
- Experience with SAP system installation and configuration on both Linux and Windows operating systems
- Solid understanding of database and filesystem replication, as well as network routing preparation
- Proven expertise in problem management and root cause analysis
- Willingness and ability to learn and support additional SAP technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Connector, SAP S/4HANA)
- Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain well-structured day-to-day documentation
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Tech you bring
We are looking for a Technology expert either in Basis, Server Management or DB with very good understanding of the full technology stack within an SAP system. Expertise in conversion/migration of SAP Systems as well as troubleshooting / root cause analysis in SAP Transactions (OS, DB) is key.

Under the umbrella of our Global Cloud Operations (GCO) you will be part of the Private Cloud Operations Regional delivery team and all the technical facets of serving a huge mass of customers in our data centers (and Hyperscaler) will be part of you daily job.
