What you'll do:

The key areas of responsibility and tasks include:

  • Work with SAP S/4HANA cloud mindset and be a trusted advisor for Customers in SAP Business Suite implementation projects to provide guidance to the Customers/Partners team for successful implementation of Business Suite. Bring Learnings from the Customer Projects, Drive Voice of Customer with PM and Development team to influence the Product and improve the Product Experience.
  • Simulate customer like scenarios/situations as E2E processes in our internal landscape and act as first Customer and proactively Product feedbacks to PM and Dev team, convert learnings into guidance for Customer and Partners, run enablement for Customers and Partners to simplify Product Experience.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for Product optimization and improvement, actively contributing ideas and solutions that lead to higher efficiency and performance. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning expectations and ensuring clear communication on product strategies and roadmaps balancing customer needs, technical constraints and business objectives
  • Guide Customers on new Innovations in Finance domain, increase adoption of Business Suite, AI in finance domain by learning, implementing and guiding the Customers and partners. Co-innovate with customers/partners by building new functional scenarios/AI use cases in Business Suite to simplify the experience and generate value for Customers.
  • Work as customer advocates and work closely with PM and Development and drive the Customer critical needs in a structured approach.
  • Build deep product knowledge in Finance domain across Industries in E2E business scenarios integrating with other related cross modules, understand extensibility in Cloud and guide Customers with workarounds for critical asks. Build deep product knowledge
  • Act as a Solution Architect and Subject Matter expert for Business Suite, update on latest innovation of both Cloud ERP Public and Private and guide Customers and Partners senior Leadership as Solution Architect.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Management and team members to design, develop, and thoroughly test innovative software solutions that meet customer and product requirements. Take ownership and accountability and generate measurable outcomes.
  • Bring creative ideas to improve Customer experience, operational excellence & support fellow colleagues
  • Support and Equip regional representatives with the necessary tools, training materials, and resources to effectively roll out enhancements and new features.
  • Investigate, analyse, and bring Data driven insights creating impact and guiding Management and Developments to improve Product Experience for our Customers and internal communities. Collaborate with the product management team to gather and analyse market intelligence, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Prepare and facilitate strategic management sessions, workshops, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects that span multiple functional domains within S/4HANA Financials. Facilitate collaboration between Development, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience (12+ years) in Product management, strategic planning, or a related role, preferably implementation experience within Finance Domain (Financial Accounting, Controlling, Accounting Principle, Asset Management, Business intelligence, Financial reporting, Risk management, Data management and integration with MM, SD, PP etc) in enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP ERP cloud systems. Hands on experience in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA (OP, Pvt Cloud or Public Cloud) in Finance preferably with good business process knowledge as techno functional expertise.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science engineering or a related field. Chartered Accountant with strong Finance Business process knowledge preferred.
  • Fluency in English.

It acts as the Voice of the Customer, channeling feedback to Product & Engineering to influence roadmap and quality improvements. It plays a key role in enabling innovations like AI-driven use cases and Clean Core practices, helping customers accelerate transformation. By running enablement sessions, councils, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, the team standardizes best practices across regions and scales expertise globally. Its work reduces escalations, improves customer satisfaction, and strengthens SAP’s credibility in delivering seamless ERP experiences. Ultimately, the team is critical for aligning customer success with SAP’s strategic priorities, ensuring long-term adoption and loyalty.
