WalkMe is growing its GTM organization in the MEE, as such we are looking for a 1st line sales manager to take accountability of 1 of our Sales team in the region. This is a Sales leadership position which has responsibility for managing 1 of our sales team to deliver on individual and team revenue generation targets. The Sales Manager will retain, recruit and manage an established sales team through the development of a high-performance culture and client-driven philosophy.

What you’ll build

  • Lead a high performing Sales Team able to achieve superior results, growing business with existing customers, and closing new opportunities and new logos.
  • Attract, recruit, train, and retain exceptional sales talent.
  • Facilitate the working relationships with the direct and indirect sales channels, marketing and pre-sales organizations.
  • Execute on the vision for the sales organization by creating a strategic roadmap to attain global and metrics.
  • Provide focused training or mentoring, knowledge and sales efforts to increase traction, client penetration, learning and sales.
  • Provide leadership and guidance.
  • Report on metrics to measure performance of Sales activities.
  • Coach in applying sales discipline and best practices to penetrate new accounts and continually work to improve client satisfaction.
  • Support the development of sales proposals, configurations and pricing strategies that win against the competition.
  • Partner to expand existing client base to drive broader opportunities and ensure proper alignment and sales resource allocation within new and existing customers.

What you bring

  • Strategic or business consulting experience as well as project Management certification
  • Proven initial functional leadership experience gained through a mentoring role or acting as a vacation cover/deputy for L1 Managers.
  • Several years of sales experience in WalkMe and SAP Business Transformation Management, with proven, above-average target achievement (quota attainment).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills at the C-level, as well as the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Deep product understanding of the WalkMe and SAP solution portfolios, along with an established WalkMe and SAP network.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and derive structured, strategic decisions.
  • Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology and forecast excellenceExtensive personal network to customers and within SAP
  • Strong regional knowledge and experience selling enterprise SW and SaaS
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively at senior levels within a highly matrix business environment
  • Strategic thinker with a strong sales mentality
  • Natural proactive nature but approaches all situations with and empathetic and patient manner
  • Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical skills that allow for an ease when guiding customers through technical processes.
  • Highly data-driven with a commitment to process.
