What are we looking for?

The Business Technology Platform Team are a high-performing team of technical specialists ranging from graduates
level to senior specialist, and we are looking for someone to join our awesome team.
If you have a consulting background and some experience with S/4 Hana and
Modern development languages we would love to chat with you about supporting the delivery of our clean core
messaging and clean core assessments as part of our solution advisory team.

Whilst the clean core approach is a key part, as a Solution Advisor you advise our sales and
extended teams as well as our customers on aspects of the cloud platform, such as:

  • Integration (hybrid models)
  • API and Platform services
  • Extensibility
  • AI
  • And other areas of evolving technology

A typical “day in the life” of a platform specialist will include

Support our Customers and Sales Teams

  • Leading Discovery sessions to understand customer challenges
  • Build demonstrations to address customer-specific asks
  • Create videos, recordings, and other digital assets
  • Help identify appropriate services available on the BTP platform to address customer requirements
  • Advise customers on their Clean Core approach as they move to a cloud-based ERP
  • Facilitate Clean core assessments and interpret results
  • Help position SAP as an integration solution of choice
  • Play a critical post-sale supporting role in ensuring continuity and success
    in the customer’s subsequent adoption, consumption, and further expansion of BTP solutions.

Evangelise, Educate and Inspire

  • Evangelise the SAP cloud strategy in discussions with internal teams and customers
    to shape perspectives.
  • Support the awareness and education of the SAP ecosystem on BTP solutions.
  • Support marketing campaigns and events as needed.
  • Community Outreach - Help build relationships with local universities and coding groups or similar, to raise awareness
    of SAP technology
  • Exemplify and champion a true “customer first” mindset in every interaction –
    focus on the long-term success of the customer.

Required Skills

  • Presenting and Consulting experience
  • A passion for technology and solution design
  • Knowledge of development tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Ability to establish relationships with technical and non-technical professionals
  • A willingness to learn
  • Proficiency at prioritising tasks
  • Good verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively presents information to their team and customers as needed.

Additional Skills

  • Some application development experience and the ability to be hands-on
    with development tools (IDES, JavaScript, Python, .NET, HTML5, etc.)
  • Possible hyperscaler certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in creating, designing, and recording collateral such as value-based presentations
    & demonstrations, whiteboards, webinars, videos, podcasts etc.
