ABOUT THE TEAM:

The SAP Globalization HCM unit is responsible for developing and maintaining the SAP Payroll products. Thousands of customers use our OnPremise solutions to pay over 80 million people around the world. As the leading provider in payroll software, we aim to maintain this position as we transition to the Cloud.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain the SAP Payroll OnPremise product through legal changes, customer cases, redesigns and, new developments.
  • Work in agile software engineering tasks, such as the analysis of business requirements, solution design, code implementation, testing, and delivery.
  • Support and advise the Development Lead and leadership regarding technical and architectural feasibility, implications, readiness and compliance.
  • Foster the development of other colleagues through coaching, advice and feedback.
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues from other lines of business and locations, external partners, and customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree in technology.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in ABAP.
  • Advanced knowledge in OO Programming, Clean Code, SOLID Principles, and Test Automation.
  • Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate it into technical solutions.
  • Openness to a feedback-driven culture.
  • Interest in developing a long-term career within our team.
